Ganesh Chaturthi 2026: A look at past Ganpati celebrations of Allu Arjun, Nani, Ram Charan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and others
As Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 celebrations are set to begin tomorrow, Lord Ganpati’s devotees including celebrities will celebrate the festival with their families. Over the years, several South Indian stars have given fans a look into their Ganpati celebrations at home. Let’s take a look at them.
Allu Arjun
In 2024, ‘Pushpa’ star Allu Arjun shared a sneak peek into the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at his residence. Through his Instagram Stories, the actor showed how his daughter was busy decorating the area where the Ganesh idol was kept.
In 2022, Nani also shared a sweet moment from his Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The actor posted an adorable picture with his son Arjun, with their Ganesh puja mandir visible in the background. ‘The Paradise’ star used the occasion to wish his fans and followers a happy Vinayaka Chathurthi. The simple family picture received love from his fans.
Mahesh Babu’s family
Last year, in 2025, Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar shared a series of pictures from their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. In one picture, Namrata posed with her son Gautam and daughter Sitara. Another photo showed their beautifully decorated Ganpati idol placed inside the family mandir. The post also featured their adorable dogs sitting beside Namrata in the puja space, giving the celebrations a warm family feel. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan
In 2023, Ram Charan and Upasana Kamineni celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with their daughter Klin Kaara. Ram Charan shared family pictures that also featured Megastar Chiranjeevi. He gave fans a glimpse of the Ganesh idol and festive decorations at their home. A life-size charcoal artwork of Lord Hanuman was also seen at their residence. Ram Charan wrote, “Happy Vinayaka Chaturthi to all,With the blessings of Lord Vigneshwara, I pray that all the problems will be removed from our lives and good luck will come to everyone.”
