Web-heads heading to New York Comic Con next month need to clear their schedules for Saturday afternoon.
Marvel Comics has unveiled the schedule for NYCC 2026, and sitting right at the center of their Saturday slate is Marvel Comics: The Spider-Web. Set for October 10, 2026 at 3:30 PM in North-Room 405, the panel promises to chart the future of the Spider-Man office while dropping a massive bombshell announcement.
Building off Amazing Spider-Man#1000
Coming off the heels of September’s landmark release of Amazing Spider-Man #1000—billed as the single largest issue in Spidey’s 64-year history—the panel apparently serves as the primary roadmap for the franchise’s post-#1000 era.
The presentation will offer early looks at upcoming story arcs and creative directions across the entire line, specifically spotlighting Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy.
“A Major Announcement That Will Turn Their World Upside Down”

While routine publishing updates are on the docket, Marvel’s official solicit description explicitly promises “a major announcement that will turn their world upside down!“
With new Editor-in-Chief Stephen Wacker officially taking the reins of the Marvel Universe this fall, speculation is running wild on what the secret project could be. Theories range from a company-wide Spider-Verse crossover, major status-quo shifts for Miles and Peter, or the long-rumored introduction of a brand-new ongoing title under the Spider-office umbrella.
