Walmart is selling a ton of laptops, many of which are affordable productivity laptops perfect for students. You can get a spacious 16-inch ASUS Vivobook Equipped with an Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD for just $519 (regularly $699). If you want something cheaper, check out Lenovo IdeaPad 1, equipped with a 15.6-inch display, Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Priced at $379 (originally $649).
On the gaming front, Walmart has an HP Victus gaming laptop for just $599, which is almost the lowest price for a gaming laptop in 2024. Gaming and less graphics-intensive experience. Don’t expect it to perform well in the latest AAA games, but the RAM can be upgraded to 16GB. Adding an extra 8GB of RAM is cheap and easy. This Victus model features a 144Hz 15.6-inch display with anti-glare technology.
For a more powerful gaming laptop, the Asus ROG Strix G17 is on sale for $250. ROG Strix G17 comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 CPU, Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. It also comes with a huge 17.3-inch display that supports a 240Hz refresh rate.
