Capcom’s classic characters make the grade
LEGO Fortnite has added a trio of Mega Man characters to the game mode, marking the first time the cast of Capcom’s Blue Bomber has appeared in minifigure form.
In the seemingly-endless quest to include every single licensed IP to date in Fortnite, Epic Games has now dropped a handful of familiar <a href="https://comicvibe.com/this-south-park-voice-actor-has-a-bonkers-video-game-resume-including-tlou/" title="This South Park Voice Actor Has A Bonkers Video Game Resume (Including TLOU)”>video game faces into one of its game modes. Mega Man Dual Override, Mega Man X and Zero are all available to purchase as part of a Mega Man Bundle, including minifigure versions for play in LEGO Fortnite.
Priced in the Fortnite shop at 3,500 V-Bucks, the collection of classic Capcom characters offers standard versions of each to use in Fortnite itself, along with additional cosmetics such as the Buster Cannon Fire Sword, E-Tank Power Pack, Z-Saber and even Mega Man’s robotic transforming canine sidekick, Rush.
The Mega Man Bundle arrives as part of Fortnite’s latest gaming-themed Override season, which has also seen the like of Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter and even Tetris being added to the online experience, but will only be available until September 21.
The LEGO Styles of Mega Man, Mega Man X and Zero represent the first time that the Capcom characters have appeared in minifigure form (digitally, at least) and all three certainly look mightily impressive indeed.
The Mega Man skins can be used in LEGO Fortnite’s survival and crafting modes, as well as Fortnite Creative and any custom modes that support such LEGO Styles. Note that individual Mega Man styles can also be purchased and will set players back 1,800 V-Bucks each.
