Calling the move an act of “audacity,” Amaal wrote, “Whoever is handling the page or the social media of @skfilmsofficial, I love the audacity you have shown by leaving out the composer & the lyricist of the song lol! It doesn’t look nice that a song that is created with the pain, blood, sweat and tears of a music composer & his lyricist is celebrated without the creators being respected or even mentioned.”
He further asked the team looking over the page to “learn to do the basics”, saying the remark should not be removed so that Salman Khan could have a look at it. Amaal added, “Learn to do the basics; otherwise, delete this page. Don’t delete my comment; let Salman sir see it as well, so that he knows you guys screwed up (sic).”
Amaal composed the music for Hero, while Kumaar wrote the lyrics for Main Hoon Hero Tera, one of the best-known songs from the film’s soundtrack. The original version of the song was sung by Amaal’s brother Armaan Malik, while Salman Khan released his own version.
Amaal Mallik announced music break
Amaal has established himself as a prominent name in the Bollywood music industry, with his romantic compositions and film soundtracks. Over the years, he has worked on films such as Jai Ho (2014), Roy (2015), Hero (2015), Airlift (2016), Kapoor & Sons (2016), M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), Baaghi (2016), Kabir Singh (2019), and Vedaa (2024). His solo tracks, including Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Chal Wahan Jaate Hain and Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main, have further strengthened his popularity.
A few days ago, Amaal announced that he was taking a break from film music until next year, saying he wanted to take care of his health and overall recovery, and that he would come back with “a heart full of melodies” while requesting fans to not disturb him during the break.
Mallik, who is the son of composer Daboo Malik and the nephew of Anu Malik, became one of the finalists of Bigg Boss 19.
