The game is set in the early 2000s and follows a teenager relocating to a new town before his high school graduation. The story follows Sam, who just moved to a new town called Agefield with his parents right before he completes high school. Sam quickly links up with Kale and Axel, two friends determined to leave their mark before leaving school for good, and together they set their “Rock the School” plan in motion.
A central mechanic of the game is its strict time and school system. It requires players to attend classes until the afternoon on weekdays. However, they can choose to skip them and explore the town or complete side activities.
