The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is officially back with Season 5!
The hit reality series returned with five new episodes on Hulu on Thursday (September 10), bringing the women of #MomTok back to our screens following a tumultuous few months.
Fans might immediately notice that the new season is considerably shorter than previous installments of the show.
Season 5 consists of just five episodes, all of which were released at once, compared to the 10 episodes included in each of the previous three seasons.

Why Does The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5 Only Have 5 Episodes?
Season 5 was shortened after production was interrupted earlier this year.
Filming was temporarily halted in March amid an investigation involving Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen. Production eventually resumed weeks later.
As a result of the production hiatus, Season 5 was ultimately shortened to five episodes.
The season follows Taylor returning to #MomTok with unfinished business following The Bachelorette, while Whitney Leavitt makes her Broadway debut in Chicago and tensions continue to rise among the group.
Will There Be a Season 6 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?
Fans don’t have to worry about the shortened fifth season signaling the end of the show.
Layla Taylor confirmed in August that The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will return for Season 6, and revealed that filming was already underway.
“We’re not done with season five, and we’re filming for season six right now,” she said during an appearance on Hulu’s Get Real podcast.
It was subsequently reported that the show received an order for 20 additional episodes, meaning there should be plenty more #MomTok drama ahead.
A premiere date for Season 6 has not yet been announced.
