What is the Drishyam 3 plot?
Speaking about the Hindi version, director Abhishek Pathak revealed in an earlier interaction that he and Jeethu Joseph had each written a draft before working on the story. Explaining his approach, Pathak said the climax had to be cracked first before the rest of the narrative could be built around it.
“I had written a draft and he had written a draft. When you write Drishyam, you first need to crack the climax. When I wrote my version, I had one central idea, what if this happens, and then what happens next? That’s the shock audiences will experience in theatres. Once that was cracked, I started writing the film backwards. You cannot write this storyline linearly. You first need to know the core plot and then build the flow around it.”
Prakash Raj also joins the group in what looks to be a big part, while Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor also play main roles.

More about Drishyam 3
Speaking about the tension and scale of the third instalment, Abhishek Pathak acknowledged that the success of the earlier films has already set the bar high, with audiences expecting another gripping chapter.
“When people came to watch Drishyam 2, they didn’t expect the twists the film had. This time, expectations are already sky-high, and the film will take the audience on a rollercoaster ride. By the end, they’ll wonder where the story has reached. But that’s the whole idea and fabric of Drishyam. Hopefully, people enjoy this experience in theatres just like they enjoyed the previous parts,” he said.
