7Seas Entertainment reported a 33.9% increase in net profit after tax (PAT) to ₹222.90 lakh for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, driven by a 23.1% growth in revenue from operations to ₹2,011.55 lakh. The Hyderabad-based game developer also executed a preferential issue aggregating ₹17.32 crore during the year.
The company’s total income rose to ₹2,013.72 lakh from ₹1,646.10 lakh in FY25. While revenue expanded significantly, other income declined sharply from ₹11.81 lakh in the previous year to just ₹2.18 lakh. This drop in non-operating income contrasts with the robust growth in core services revenue, which stood at ₹2,010.86 lakh, primarily comprising export sales.

A critical divergence exists between the company’s reported profitability and its operating cash flow. Despite recording a PAT of ₹222.90 lakh, cash generated from operations turned negative at -₹508.67 lakh, compared to -₹311.91 lakh in FY25. This deterioration was primarily driven by a surge in trade receivables, which more than doubled to ₹567.11 lakh from ₹213.80 lakh. Consequently, the trade receivables turnover ratio fell by 57.2% to 5.15 times, indicating slower conversion of sales into cash despite top-line growth.
Balance Sheet and Capital Raise
Total assets increased to ₹3,073.35 lakh as of March 31, 2026, supported by a strong equity base of ₹2,934.75 lakh. The debt-equity ratio improved dramatically by 94.4% to 0.0037 times as borrowings reduced to ₹10.73 lakh from ₹116.82 lakh.
During FY26, the company completed a preferential allotment of equity shares and convertible warrants. It received ₹7.55 crore in cash proceeds and converted ₹1.52 crore of promoter loans into equity. The remaining consideration linked to warrants is payable upon exercise.
Strategic Developments
Management highlighted the integration of AI-assisted tools into design and testing workflows to improve development efficiency. The Board did not recommend a dividend for FY26, opting instead to carry forward profits to retained earnings. The 35th Annual General Meeting is scheduled for September 30, 2026.
