The first weekend of September is here, and if you’re looking for a reason to step out, the metro has plenty in store.

From a massive pop culture convention to a cheesecake-making class, there are plenty of ways to spend your weekend—whether you’re going all-out or keeping things low-key.

Here are some events to check out this Sept. 4 to 6:

Sept. 4–6: Geek out at SuperManila Comic Con

Comic book and pop culture fans, this one’s for you.

SuperManila Comic Con 2026 is taking over One Ayala in Makati from Sept. 4 to 6, bringing together international and Filipino artists, creators, collectors, and fans for three days of comics, entertainment, and pop culture. The event’s guest roster includes C.B. Cebulski, Mike Zeck, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, Jehyung Lee, Derrick Chew, and more.

Aside from meeting artists, attendees can browse collectibles and exclusive merchandise, check out interactive exhibits, and join panels and other activities. The convention will also feature special releases and exclusive Filipino komiks titles.

A regular pass costs P650 and gives attendees access to the convention. SuperManila will be held at The Space on Level 5 and the Concourse on Level 2 of One Ayala. The Space is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., while the Concourse runs until 9 p.m. from Sept. 4 to 6.
