The camaraderie between Elvish Yadav and Tejasswi Prakash appears to have taken a dramatic turn. The two, who previously shared a friendly equation after featuring together on Laughter Chefs, are now at the centre of a controversy following a video from the sets of Playground season 5. The reality show mentors were seen getting into a heated argument, with Elvish appearing to lose his cool during the exchange.

In the video, Elvish can be seen addressing members of his team over their performance when Tejasswi seemingly interrupts him. What follows is a tense exchange between the two mentors, with Elvish telling her, “Shut the f’ck up.” The clip quickly sparked discussion online, particularly over the way the confrontation played out between the two.
While the footage captures only a portion of the interaction, Elvish later took to X to address the controversy and offer his side of the story. The YouTuber alleged that footage from the sets had been leaked and suggested that it was being used to portray him in a negative light.
He also objected to what he described as a “boy-girl” narrative being created around the incident. “If someone tries to create a âboy-girl’ narrative about me on national television, I’m not okay with it,” he wrote, adding that bringing a gender angle into every situation was “not cool”.
Elvish also defended the language he used during the argument, writing, “I responded in the language that the situation deserved.” He went on to accuse Tejasswi of allegedly giving false interviews and speaking disrespectfully about his fans.

The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner didn’t stop there. Taking another apparent dig at his co-mentor, he wrote, “I’ll give you better investment plans so your money goes to the right place. Don’t waste it on PR.”
Towards the end of his statement, Elvish said the situation had taught him whom to give importance to, adding that if standing up for himself and his fans made him “wrong”, he was willing to be wrong.
For now, Tejasswi has not publicly responded to Elvish’s allegations. Whether the clash is simply a heated moment from the competitive reality show or signals a deeper rift between the two remains to be seen. Playground season 5is currently streaming on Prime Video.
