Jacob Batalon Marries Veronica Leahov In French Wedding After Private Nuptials, His ‘Spider-Man’ Co-Stars Attend
Jacob Batalon and his wife Veronica Leahov just got married again!
The 29-year-old Spider-Man: Brand New Day star and the 34-year-old interior designer celebrated the marriage with a three-day wedding celebration in the south of France last week, Peopleconfirms.
Their big wedding celebration comes after they previously tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony.
Jacob and Veronica celebrated their marriage with an intimate event, joined by family and close friends from August 25 to 27.
“We always knew we wanted our wedding to be more than just one evening,” the couple shared withPeople. “We wanted it to feel like an experience, a few beautiful days where everyone we love could slow down, be together and celebrate with us.”
“Keeping the celebration intimate was really important to us,” they added. “We wanted to be surrounded by the people who are genuinely part of our lives and to actually have time to enjoy the weekend with everyone.”
“Having people we love travel from different parts of the world to spend those three days with us made everything even more meaningful.”
Jacob’s Spider-Man co-stars were in attendance!
Among the 56 guests in attendance included Jacob‘s Spider-Man co-stars, Zendaya and Tom Holland, Tony Revolori, Remy Hii, and Zach Barack, the latter two of whom were only in Far From Home.
Jacob and Veronica‘s cute pet maltipoo, Vulpix, was also there, in the arms of a bridesmaid during the ceremony!
The wedding was held at Chateau de Tourreau in Sarrains, which they were drawn to for its 18th-century historic luxury because it “felt like its own little world” and is in the heart of Provence.
“There is something incredibly romantic and timeless about the south of France,” the couple shared. “We fell in love with the landscape, the architecture, the summer light and the effortless elegance of Provence.”
Jacob and Veronica exchanged handwritten vows on Wednesday (August 26).
“Neither of us heard the other’s vows before the ceremony, so hearing those words for the first time while standing together was one of the most emotional moments of the entire wedding,” they said.
Veronicawore a strapless corset wedding gown from Galia Lahav, and changed into a long-sleeved lace dress by the designer later.
Jacob donned a classic black tux from Suitsupply for the ceremony, and changed into a white suit jacket for the reception.
Their first dance was set to “All That Really Matters” by Illenium and Teddy Swims. Additional music was provided by live musicians, and they also had a magician, a live painter, and a fireworks display!
“There were moments when we would look around at this beautiful château in Provence and see our families and closest friends together in one place and almost couldn’t believe it was actually happening,”Jacob and Veronicasaid. “But what made it feel like a fairy tale wasn’t just the château, the flowers or how beautiful everything looked. It was the amount of love we felt around us.”
“When we finally went back to our room at the end of the night and it was just the two of us, all of the emotions hit us. We had spent so much time imagining what that day would feel like, and somehow actually living it was even more beautiful and emotional than we imagined.”
