McDonald’s is giving Texans something the rest of the country can’t get.
The fast-food chain has launched a limited-time Texas Meal, available only at participating McDonald’s locations across the Lone Star State.
The meal, which launched Sept. 1, includes a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries and a medium drink. Customers can also choose the recently returned Spicy Chicken McNuggets as part of the meal, according to a report from Yahoo and The Dallas Morning News.
The biggest perk may be what comes with the order.
Customers can request a Texas-themed collectible cup, with seven different designs representing regions across the state. The cups feature designs inspired by:
- Houston
- Dallas-Fort Worth
- Austin and Central Texas
- San Antonio
- West Texas
- East Texas
- The Rio Grande Valley and South Texas
The designs were created by Austin-based artist Avery Orendorf.
Houston-area McDonald’s customers can ask for the Houston-themed collectible cup with their Texas Meal.
The promotion is available for a limited time at participating McDonald’s locations across Texas, though it is unclear how long the cups will be available.
The Texas Meal launched as McDonald’s also brought back its Spicy Chicken McNuggets for a limited time, giving customers the option to add some heat to their order.
The company is also hosting an event on Saturday, September 5, to celebrate Houston culture. The event will feature lowrider vehicles, the iconic McDonald’s Big Red Shoe car, and the new Houston cup.
