McFarlane Toys has announced the final wave of its DC Super Powers action-figure collection featuring six new figures. The assortment continues the line’s 4.5-inch scale and retro-inspired presentation, drawing on the visual style of the classic DC Super Powers brand while featuring interpretations of characters from across DC Comics.
The six-figure assortment includes Superman in his Justice Society of America design, Silver Age Flash, Martian Manhunter, Wonder Girl, Deathstroke and Metallic Cyborg. The lineup brings together heroes and villains representing different eras of DC Comics, with character treatments that reflect both classic comic-book appearances and distinctive variations within the DC universe.
The collection is designed for collectors and incorporates the compact proportions and vintage-inspired aesthetic associated with DC Super Powers. The final assortment also provides several contrasting character interpretations, from the historically styled Silver Age Flash and JSA Superman to the metallic treatment of Cyborg and the contemporary comic-book presence of Deathstroke.
Pre-orders for the final wave are scheduled to open on Thursday, September 3rd through Entertainment Earth.
