A new restaurant with bowling, billiards and more games is planned for Sacramento’s Downtown Commons.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina-based 810 Entertainment said the company will make its Northern California debut at the former 25,000-square-foot home of Punch Bowl Social on two floors across from the Golden 1 Center.
The new venue is expected to include eight bowling lanes, billiards, interactive darts and other social games, according to a press release.
A “substantial portion” of the space would be used for private gatherings and corporate events.
The press release said the concept is for a “food-first destination” with plans to serve from breakfast through late-night.
The company is looking for a partnership with a craft brewer for a “beer-focused” bar experience on the lower level.
“We see tremendous potential in this location,” 810 Entertainment Sacramento Franchise Owner Seth Singh said in a statement. “DOCO is already one of the region’s premier destinations for sports, dining, and entertainment, and we believe 810 will be a natural addition to the mix. Our goal is to create a place Sacramento can call it own — one that is equally welcoming for breakfast, dinner, a company event, a family outing or drinks and games before or after an event at Golden 1 Center.”
Punchbowl Social also offered bowling and darts, along with karaoke. The business first opened in 2017 and closed last year.
It’s unclear when the new business will launch. Construction to renovate the space will begin after the lease and permitting process is complete, according to the press release.
810 Entertainment has 16 other locations open or in development across the country, according to its website.
