Ace fashion designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla celebrated their 40 years in the world of fashion with a glamorous and grand night in Mumbai. They hosted an evening celebrating their legacy in the fashion space on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Mubarak Baug, their new flagship in Mumbai. For the celebrations, they even brought veteran models from yesteryears back to the ramp.

The highlight of the evening was the glamorous and exquisite showcase of their collection. Taking to Instagram, the designers shared pictures from the evening and wrote, “Four decades of maximalism. Four decades of extraordinary couture. One magical night. Mubarak Baug becomes a living expression of the Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla universe, with the House’s signature grandeur, opulence and exuberance taking centre stage for one spectacular evening.”
They also introduced thier models from the decades, saying, “Presenting abujani1 and sandeepkhosla with our supermodels over the decades.”
Among those seen walking the ramp were Rakshanda Khan, Rahul Dev, Diandra Soares, Dipannita Sharma, Alesia Raut, Nethra Raghuraman, Carol Gracias, Prateik Jain, Gaurav Arora, Aashim Gulati, Rajniesh Duggall and others.

Several other celebrities from the world of showbiz, fashion and business were also seen attending the evening. Among those who marked their presencewere Neetu Kapoor, Asha Parekh, Natasa Stankovic, Genelia Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh, Parul Gulati, Sonam Kapoor, Orry, Mugdha Godse, Sufi Motiwala, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, and others were spotted on the red carpet of the event.
The Ambani ladies, Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Shloka Ambani, and Radhika Ambani, were also seen arriving in their best outfits for the celebrations.
Often regarded as one of the Indian fashion industry’s pioneers, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla have remained at the forefront of the Indian fashionscape. The designer duo marked four decades in the industry this year.
Their relationship with Bollywood has been a close one as the duo has dressed generations of stars, including Madhuri Dixit, Deepika Padukone, and Sonam Kapoor over decades. However, their crowning achievement continues to be Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Devdas (2002), for which they designed the breathtaking, intricate ensembles for Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai. Their designs for the film went on to earn them the National Film Award for Best Costume Design.
