A new editor, a new address and a new chapter for the house of ideas. Marvel Comics is turning the page on two major fronts, appointing veteran editor Stephen Wacker as its new editor-in-chief while relocating its publishing division from New York to Burbank in July 2027.

At about noon yesterday I was at Fanatics Fest catching up withGareb Shamus, when I happened to glance at my phone and saw that Marvel was moving to the west coast.

Marvel announced today that veteran editor Stephen Wacker has been named Editor-in-Chief, Marvel Comics. Wacker will take over from C.B. Cebulski, who will be moving to Japan to become Editor, Asia Originals, for Marvel.
