Stephen King’s debut horror novel, Carrie, is coming to Prime Video in the form of a new series next month. The most acclaimed adaptation of the novel to date was Brian De Palma’s film adaptation released in 1976. Showrunner Mike Flanagan, known for The Haunting of Hill House, is attached to the Prime Video series.
The 27-year-old actor has become one of the genre’s most recognizable young faces, starring in three Stephen King adaptations, including the Itfranchise. Now, he’s the terrifying figure hiding in Netflix’s buzzy new crime thriller, The Whisper Man.
