MANILA, Philippines — Roblox has agreed to strengthen its user verification system and introduce additional child protection measures to help prevent online groomers from accessing the platform, the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) said Friday.

Philippine government officials met with regional executives of Meta and Roblox in Singapore following a spate of violent incidents in schools perpetrated by minors allegedly influenced by predators and groomers online.
