The streaming service has greenlit a sequel series to the classic ’90s film Clueless. Alicia Silverstone is set to reprise her starring role as “it” girl Cher Horowitz in this new event series based on the teen comedy movie.

The prospective merger between entertainment giants Paramount and Warner Bros. has been officially delayed, prolonging the drama over what is proving to be an extremely controversial business decision.

NEW YORK – Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery have agreed to delay closing their US$81 billion (S$104.5 billion) merger well into next year, a stunning move that arrives as a judge continues to consider a challenge from 12 states seeking to block the deal altogether.

Boldly go where Star Trek has only gone for three seasons before, as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds returns for Season 4 on July 23. It’s the highlight of Paramount+’s new shows and movies in July, which kick off on July 3 with the Season 1 finale of the streamer’s big hit Dutton Ranch. 

Paramount+ has set a premiere date for AVATAR: SEVEN HAVENS, the animated series announced at Comic-Con International in San Diego, where a teaser for the show was also revealed.

A federal judge has temporarily halted the $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery by Paramount Skydance until August 17. The ruling allows the entertainment giant more time to contest a possible extended suspension.
