Netflix has found its next docuseries obsession in “The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare.”

This summer is certainly proving to look a little bit different, with six new actors joining the cast of “This Summer Will Be Different” as production begins on Prince Edward Island.

September 2026 is taking a similar shape to August, in that this month will also be dominated by Netflix’s weekly anime releases. However, September will finally see the long-awaited release of Steel Ball Run, the seventh story arc of the much-beloved JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series.

Netflix today unveils the trailer for a gripping new Swedish crime thriller series, premiering on August 20. Created by George Kay (Lupin,Hijack), the five-part drama introduces a tense and emotionally charged hunt for a killer targeting the police. 

Yes, it’s only the first week of August, but there are already reports emerging about some of Netflix’s content plans for September.
