It’s been nearly 30 years since Princess Diana died in a car accident in Paris. Yet revelations from the days that followed are still making headlines globally, thanks to a book (Swan Song,released Sept. 22) written by her brother, Earl Spencer. 

King Charles confirms Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not return to royal duties. A letter sent on behalf of the King explains their styles as His and Her Royal Highness remain in abeyance, and they are now akin to private citizens.

Britain’s King Charles reportedly felt ‘giddily elated’ after the death of Princess Diana, his late first wife, according to passages from his brother-in-law Charles Spencer’s upcoming book. Spencer noted that King Charles’ reaction might have stemmed from his newfound freedom to marry again.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have only been back in Britain for a matter of days, but at least one branch of Harry’s family is already making it clear that they’re happy to have the Sussexes closer to home.
