Jennie is out of time. “Honestly, it’s not on my side,” she says with a sense of urgency. It’s spring and she’s in L.A., where she’s been recording new music. “I’m constantly in the studio. My fingers are crossed to have music out for the summer festivals.”
Before surprising fans at her LEGO Editions collection pop-up in LA, we met up with the singer in her green room to talk revisiting past tours, designing her mini, and her “amazing” summer.
When we were first pitching Denshattack!, and even when people hear about it today, it’s the core concept that really surprises them. We like to describe it as ‘Tony Hawk but you’re a train’ and they immediately become intrigued by how we came up with the idea.
The idea to create Coloratura was born from a revolutionary premise: creating a game that wasn’t just an audioguide but an experience you can play blindly, using spatial orientation and sensory perception as its main core.
