Microsoft is testing a way for folks to stream certain games they own for free. Rather than paying for Game Pass to access cloud gaming features, Xbox insiders will be able to stream select games from their libraries at no extra cost. They’ll just need to watch some ads first.

Today, we’re starting to test an ad-supported way to stream select games from your library for a limited time, available to XBOX Insiders. 

Earlier this year, Xbox gamers noticed little messages hinting at an ad-supported streaming tier coming to the platform. This streaming option is now available for testing for Xbox Insiders, and it’s optional for those interested in seeing what playing games
