The Mall Lifestore, in collaboration with Thai Life Insurance Public Company Limited and Thai Namthip Corporation Public Company Limited, with support from the Embassy of Japan in Thailand and Japanese partners including the Japan Foundation, Bangkok and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), invites Poka-San to guide fans through an immersive world of manga, anime and Japanese culture at “THE MALL LIFESTORE MANGA MULTIVERSE.”
The event brings together the best of Japanese entertainment and pop culture under one roof, transforming the shopping center into a vibrant recreation of Tokyo’s famous Akihabara district. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities, including Idol Girl Group performances, cosplay, card games, Creator Alley and workshops, alongside authentic Japanese izakaya-style cuisine.
The event runs from August 26 to September 3, 2026, at M GRAND HALL, G Floor, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi. The event will then continue as a roadshow at The Mall Lifestore Bangkae from September 24–30, 2026, at M GRAND HALL, G Floor.
Poka-San serves as a special guide to the “Akihabara Pop Culture Hub,” where the M GRAND HALL at The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi has been transformed into a recreation of Akihabara—a dream destination for manga and anime fans. Known for its iconic manga stores, limited-edition figures, games and vibrant Japanese pop culture, Akihabara is one of the world’s most influential hubs for Japanese pop culture and a must-visit destination for anime enthusiasts traveling to Tokyo.
The event was officially opened by Hiroki Akasaka, Director of the Japan Information Office.

• AKIHABARA LANDMARK: Experience a recreation of Akihabara, Japan’s renowned destination for anime shopping and collectibles. The landmark serves as a signature photo destination, giving visitors the feeling of stepping directly into the world of Japanese pop culture.

Spend THB 300 at the shopping center to join the DIY Beaded Keychain Workshop, or spend THB 500 to receive an artwork by participating artists and join the ONE PIECE Card Game competition, subject to the specified terms and conditions.
