Orry recalls traumatic fallout with Amrita Singh: ‘She really put me through hell’

    28 August,2026 08:27 AM IST |  Mumbai  |  mid-day online correspondent

Orry has opened up about his 2021 fallout with Amrita Singh, calling it a deeply traumatic and dark phase in his life. He said the experience made him stronger and helped him deal with the hate he faced after becoming a public figure

Orry, known for his fun social media antics and close bond with Bollywood celebrities, has become a familiar face in the entertainment space. Recently seen on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, the social media sensation has now addressed his much-discussed feud with Sara Ali Khan, opening up about how her mother, Amrita Singh, allegedly put him through a deeply traumatic phase.

Orry on feud with Amrita Singh

Talking to Pinkvilla, Orry said, “Back in 2021, Amrita Singh traumatised me. It was a lot. It was a bit, I was like a bit, I don’t think I have been through something like this. It was a very low, dark time in my life; she really put me through hell.”

Orry added, “When I moved and got out of it, people were like, ‘You will get through this stronger.’ I was like, ‘I don’t need that much strength.’ Like, who needs that much strength in their life? Then I realised nothing really affects me anymore. Like, nothing really makes me sad.”

He explained, “I think the trauma I went through then actually made me strong enough that when I became a public figure, the amount of hate I used to get initially never affected me. Honestly, bad things happen to bad people. I am gonna leave it to that.”

About Orry’s fallout with Ibrahim, Sara

During a podcast with Elvish Yadav, Orry called Ibrahim Ali Khan the “most besharam” (shameless) person in the industry.

The two, who were once close friends, have now unfollowed each other on social media. Orry revealed that his strained equation with Sara and Ibrahim’s mother, Amrita Singh, led to the fallout.

Orry had posted a video where he listed ‘3 worst names’ and added the names Sara, Amrita and Palak as examples without mentioning their surnames. Following this, Sara and Ibrahim unfollowed Orry on Instagram. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Orry addressed the feud and said, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago, and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years.” He added, “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be okay with the trauma her mother put me through, and I don’t think I can do that anymore.”

“If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future,” he further said.
