Netflix is doubling down on Martha Stewart.
Following the success of R.J. Cutler’s Emmy-nominated 2024 documentary Martha, the streamer has snagged the lifestyle guru’s own podcast and her Martha Cooks series, which debut this week, Entertainment Weekly can exclusively announce.
The Martha Stewart Podcast will appear on the streaming service starting Wednesday, Aug. 26 as part of iHeartMedia and Netflix’s video podcast partnership. The series will also continue as an audio podcast distributed by iHeartPodcasts, but full video episodes will now be available to watch on Netflix.
In addition, Martha Cooks will debut on the streamer, beginning Tuesday, Aug. 25.
“I’m delighted to bring my podcast to Netflix, and with that, introduce the medium of video to the series,” Stewart said in a statement. “Netflix is the perfect partner to share and amplify the thoughtful and informative conversations the show is known for with an even greater audience.”
The Martha Stewart Podcast features guests from the worlds of business, art, food, and more talking about their careers, personal stories, ideas, and insights. The podcast launches on Netflix with an episode featuring Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Stewart and Ohanian sit down for a wide-ranging conversation about love, ambition, family, pets, investing, and life with his wife, Serena Williams.
