One thing about HBO Max’s The Pitt? There’s always another season coming. In the midst of Emmy campaigning for the second season, the show just dropped a teaser for its third season. In it, Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) finally makes his long-awaited return from his sabbatical. “Thought you’d run away and joined the circus,” nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa) tells him once he <a href="https://comicvibe.com/new-netflix-shows-and-movies-in-august-2026/” title=”New Netflix Shows and Movies in August 2026″>shows up. But in real life, it didn’t feel like he was gone for that long. The finale of the season two just aired in April, and they’ve already filmed enough to give us a trailer? This really is like the return of network prestige dramas. Imagine if Severance gave us seasons at this rate — we’d already be done with season five.
Among the non-Robby cast there are some important updates: Dr. Whitaker (Gerran Howell) has mostly grown out his mullet but has even bigger bags under his eyes. Dr. Langdon (Patrick Ball) has managed to not self-destruct in the time since we last saw him — “Welcome back,” he tells a skeptical Robby. Notably not present is Dr. Samira Mohan (Supriya Ganesh), who will not be featured this season. Find out what everyone else has been up to when season three comes back this January.
