sunset visitor and Fellow Traveller have announced that 1000xResist will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 20.
The science fiction thriller will arrive with improved framerate and resolution on Nintendo’s newer hardware.
A Sharper Version on Switch 2
The Nintendo Switch 2 version is built to give 1000xResist a cleaner visual presentation and smoother performance than the original Switch release.
The first Switch version required technical trade-offs to fit the game onto the hardware. The Switch 2 edition aims to bring the console version closer to the intended experience.
A Story About Memory and Control
1000xResist puts players in the role of Watcher, living under the rule of the Allmother among humanity’s last survivors.
The story follows Watcher through the memories of a society shaped across a thousand years, asking players to question the truth they have been taught and piece together a mystery across generations.
Free Upgrade for Switch Owners
Existing Nintendo Switch owners will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for free.
The game will also be 40% off during its launch week on the Nintendo eShop.
