We are four months out from the end of the world, Marvel style, and Marvel Studios has blessed us with another Avengers: Doomsday trailer. The new release, timed to Marvel’s presentation at Disney’s D23 Expo 2026, isn’t entirely new, however; it was first seen by fans in Hall H for San Diego Comic-Con 2026 back in July.
This new glimpse at the next big Marvel thing follows on the heels of the July Doomsday trailer that showed the X-Men battling the MCU’s new Avengers team, along with what appears to be Robert Downey, Jr.’s Doctor Doom accent and voice. The question still remains: how much will we see of Doctor Doom aura farming in the film?
Take a look at the teaser – what Marvel is calling a “special look” – below:
Avengers: Doomsday is hitting theaters on December 18, 2026 – which is the same day as Dune: Part Three, by the way. So if you’re willing to hit the darkness of your local cinema then, by all means, see both films the same day.
Consider this a meta post-credits scene for Marvel fans – the four key articles you need to read next to continue the thrills:
- All the upcoming MCU movies, TV series, and specials on the horizon
- How to watch the Marvel Cinematic Universe in release or chronological order
- The best Marvel Comics stories of all time
- All the MCU movies ranked from best to worst
