As Marvel prepares its Midnight line for release later this fall, Oni Press and Archie Comics are working on a little midnight release of their own. Thursday, the publishers announced they’re allowing retailers to release the debut issue of the new Sabrina the Teenage Witch series earlier than expected — at precisely 12:01 a.m. on October 7, 2026.
The date and time is no coincidence, Oni points out, as Marvel’s Midnight X-Men #1 Midnight Spider-Man#1, and Midnight Fantastic Four #1 release on the same day. As a part of the midnight celebrations, Oni’s also releasing an exclusive cover from artist Chloe Brailsford to be sold at the event.
Last but not least, the publisher announced deeper discounts for retailers too, opting to match Marvel’s extensive retailer discounts on the debut issues of all its Midnight titles.
Orders that include between 25-49 copies will get an addition five-percent discount, while 50-99 copies will get an additional seven-percent off their order. Those shops that order 100 or more copies will get an additional 10-percent off their order on top of their standard retailer discount.
