Voice actorSimba Tsuchiyahas been announced as thelatest voice cast memberfor the upcomingInherit the WindsTV anime series. The anime will begin airing in Japan in January 2027.
Tsuchiya will voice the character Harada Sanosuke, having previously voiced Piichi Nakagawa fromMARRIAGETOXINand Ishiya inThe World is Dancing.

Tomohiro Kawamura(Air Bound) is directing the anime series, withEbina Fumias character designer. The story is inspired by the Tachikawa Jinsuke stage play series byYutaka Narui, who is also in charge of writing the scripts for the series. The series will be co-produced byLive2D Creative StudioandDrive.

Inherit the Windswas first announced at Aniplex Online Fest in September 2025. The anime is set during the third year of the Bunkyu era at atime of unrest in Japan. It follows an amnesiac called Tachikawa Jinsuke, whose recollection of his memories has large consequences.
