Raptor PR has launched Early Gaming Growth (EGG), an integrated communications, reputation and growth platform aimed at early stage gaming technology companies and the founders running them. The service went live on 5 August and is available immediately to gaming technology companies worldwide.

The platform is pitched at companies that need to build credibility with developers, publishers and investors before they have the size or the track record to command attention on their own. It combines strategic messaging, founder-led social content, earned media engagement and owned blog output into a single programme.

    What the EGG Platform Includes

Raptor PR has broken the offering into five components, each targeting a different part of a B2B buyer’s exposure to a young company:

    • Strategic messaging – a rapid-deployment messaging exercise built specifically for early stage companies
    • Executive LinkedIn content – authentic, executive-led posts intended to build visibility and influence over time rather than in bursts
    • Earned media engagement – amplification through the agency’s editorial relationships across the games trade press
    • B2B creator engagement – continuous work with games industry creators and micro-influencers on Substack, YouTube, podcasts and newsletters
    • Owned content – expert blogs, opinion pieces and insight-led articles reflecting buyer behaviour that increasingly favours in-depth, data-driven material

The earned media component names the outlets Raptor PR holds long-established editorial relationships with: GamesBeat, PocketGamer.biz, GamesIndustry.biz, MCV/Develop, Mobidictum and MobileGamer.biz. Three of those six carried the EGG launch on 5 August.

The agency’s existing client work spans gaming, advertising technology, monetisation, analytics, AI, infrastructure, developer services and platforms, and EGG applies the same communications principles those established companies use to businesses at a much earlier stage.

Why Raptor PR Says Gaming Tech Startups Need It

Founder and CEO Rana Rahman framed the launch around two changes happening at once. The first is structural fragmentation of the trade press, which he described as having splintered significantly over the past five years, leaving no single outlet capable of reaching developers, publishers and investors in one hit. Multi-channel coverage, on that reading, stops being a tactic and becomes the minimum

The second is volume. “We’re witnessing an explosion in content across all channels, with brands and people overcommunicating, making it difficult for many to reach their audiences with their messages,” Rahman said.

EGG’s stated premise follows from that diagnosis: that success in B2B communications is not about capturing attention but about building trust and, in Rahman’s phrase, living in the memory economy of buyers across complex B2B sales cycles. That distinction matters commercially, because a gametech purchase decision rarely closes in the window a campaign runs in. If the buying cycle outlasts the campaign, the metric that counts is whether the company is still remembered when the decision finally arrives.

    Founders and the Consistency Problem

PlaySafe ID CEO and co-founder Andrew Wailes, quoted in the launch announcement, put the gap in blunter terms. “Early stage gaming tech is full of smart people, many of whom fall down when it comes to talking about their businesses in the right way,” he said, adding that founders often need guidance to articulate their own subject matter expertise.

Wailes also named the tell. “It’s usually obvious when a LinkedIn post has had little or no founder input,” he said. His argument is that visibility and reputation accumulate rather than spike, and that the discipline is staying consistent between announcements rather than only communicating around launches and events. That reframes what an early stage company is actually buying: not coverage of a moment, but presence during the long stretches when there is no moment to cover.

The Attention Problem EGG Is Built Around

Raptor PR says it studied the games industry’s executive LinkedIn landscape before building the platform, and found that much of the content there fails to communicate genuine subject matter expertise, instead falling back on familiar B2B social media tropes and clichés while increasingly showing the marks of generic AI-generated copy. EGG’s counter-position is insight-led content grounded in real industry knowledge, original thinking and authentic executive perspectives.

That finding lands in the same week the games industry was told its consumer-facing discovery layer is breaking for structurally similar reasons. A workgroup at the DevGAMM Madeira Games Summit, reported on 4 August by GamesIndustry.biz, concluded that content-surfacing algorithms now reward volume, familiarity and short-term engagement over quality or originality, burying distinctive games in the process. The two problems sit at different layers of the industry, one facing players and one facing B2B buyers, but both describe output volume rising faster than available attention and generic work crowding out specific work.

The workgroup’s advice to game developers was to own their marketing, build direct audience relationships through their own channels independently of any platform, and start before the product is finished. EGG is a commercial packaging of close to that same instruction, sold to gametech companies rather than game studios.

Whether the premise holds is not something a launch can settle. Both Rahman’s memory economy argument and Wailes’s point that reputation is built over time place the payoff at the far end of a sales cycle that has not started yet for the companies signing up today.
