Rock icon Bruce Springsteen has shared a positive update about his wife, Patti Scialfa’s health.
On social media, the 76-year-old revealed that his wifeis now in remission from multiple myeloma. At the annual Pan-Mass Challenge, a bike ride that raises funds for cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Springsteen sent in a pre-recorded message along with an acoustic rendition of Born to Run.
He admitted, “As you know, Patti Scialfa has been living with her multiple myeloma for over eight years,but now thankfully she is in remission.”

Bruce and Patti have three children together. Their eldest son, Evan James Springsteen, was born on July 25, 1990, followed by daughter Jessica Rae Springsteen on December 30, 1991, and youngest son Sam Ryan Springsteen on January 5, 1994. Although they own several properties, Bruce and Patti have long considered New Jersey home.
