Grand Summer Sale concludes as Modhesh World, Summer Restaurant Week and family attractions continue across Dubai

Dubai: Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 has entered its final decisive week, offering visitors and residents a packed calendar of <a href="https://comicvibe.com/nine-entertainment-asxnec-tests-a-post-domain-media-mix-with-higher-half/” title=”Nine Entertainment (ASX:NEC) Tests a Post-Domain Media Mix With Higher Half”>entertainment, shopping, dining and family activities, with several flagship events set to conclude in the coming days while others continue through August and September.

Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the programme has given families and visitors the opportunity to take advantage of the final days of the Dubai Grand Summer Sale, which concludes today alongside a variety of fashion shows, daily deals and cultural activities taking place across the emirate.

The Dubai Grand Summer Sale has remained at the heart of this year’s edition, featuring discounts of up to 80% across more than 1,000 brands, with selected products offered at reductions of up to 90%. The final weekend has provided shoppers with extensive savings on fashion, footwear, accessories, children’s products and lifestyle items.

Family entertainment continues to draw strong interest through Modhesh World, which remains open until 23rd August. The attraction offers a wide range of games, workshops, theatrical performances and interactive activities, alongside daily appearances by Modhesh, Dana and Baby Shark characters, creating a comprehensive summer experience for children.

The final week also features a range of live performances and artistic events. Among the highlights is the “Medley” show, which combines Gulf music, hip-hop and theatrical entertainment, featuring Shamma Hamdan, Mohammed Al Shehhi, Alaa Al Hindi, rapper Daffy and DJ Al Mur’eb.

Music fans can also attend a performance by singer Rasha Rizk as part of the “Beat The Hit DXB” series, which celebrates popular cartoon theme songs that have remained closely associated with generations of Arab audiences.

The Dubai Summer Surprises Performing Arts Festival continues at Mall of the Emirates with circus acts, dance performances and interactive family shows. Dubai Festival Plaza is hosting a dance competition aimed at young people and families, while Ibn Battuta Mall is staging indoor running events over varying distances suitable for different age groups and fitness levels.

In the dining sector, Summer Restaurant Week is entering its final days with more than 55 participating restaurants offering specially curated menus at promotional prices. The offers include two-course lunches for AED80 and three-course dinners for AED120, further strengthening Dubai’s appeal as a culinary destination during the summer season.

Prize campaigns and raffles remain among the programme’s biggest attractions. Visitors continue to have opportunities to win homes, cars, gold, hotel stays and millions of loyalty points through various promotions.

Weekly draws include prizes ranging from residential apartments and vehicles to three kilograms of gold, luxury hospitality experiences and a variety of cash and in-kind rewards offered by participating shopping centres and partners.

Several summer initiatives will continue beyond the conclusion of the main sale period. These include the Dubai Mallathon, which transforms shopping malls into air-conditioned walking and running tracks, and Dubai Sports World at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Additional shopping and loyalty campaigns featuring discounts, rewards and exclusive offers will also continue throughout August and September across leading retail destinations in the emirate.

The 2026 edition of Dubai Summer Surprises reinforces its position as one of the region’s largest seasonal events, combining shopping, entertainment, culture, sport and culinary experiences within a diverse programme designed for residents and visitors of all ages while supporting Dubai’s standing as a global tourism and retail destination.
