P-pop powerhouse SB19 gears up for Lollapalooza 2026 this July 30!
Practice continues for the Kings of P-pop SB19 as they prepare for their historic performance at Lollapalooza 2026.
In a report on24 Oras, viewers were given a sneak peek of the group’s rehearsals in the United States.
As the event draws near, SB19 admitted that the milestone still feels surreal.
“For almost 7 years now, like one of our goals is to really introduce Filipino music all over the world. To be able to perform in the biggest stages like Lollapalooza is such a dream,” Pablo shared.
Stell also recalled becoming emotional while inside a convenience store in Japan after learning the good news.
“When they saw me, and they were cheering for me, they were like, ‘Wooh! We can do this, finally! It’s a win for the Filipinos!’ That finally there’s a Filipino act performing for Lollapalooza,” he said.
For Josh and Justin, the upcoming performance represents their years of hard work to spotlight P-pop and Filipino talent on the global stage.
“Right now, it’s all making sense. Everything is going actually, fast, and we’re very thankful that we’re getting the opportunity. I cannot believe at first. But right now it’s all sinking in,” Josh shared.
“This thing is really like a big step towards our dream. We shouldn’t let this opportunity go to waste. We should just do our <a href="https://comicvibe.com/the-100-best-spider-man-covers-in-history/” title=”The 100 Best Spider-Man Covers in History”>best,” Justin added.
While reaching a remarkable milestone in their career, SB19 did not forget to thank their beloved fans, A’TIN, and everyone who has supported them through the years.
“I can’t be thankful enough for the fans for supporting us until today and of course the people behind us, also our team. Everyone that keeps supporting us from the very beginning. We’re just so thankful and very full of gratitude in our hearts,” Ken said.
SB19 has one goal in mind: to proudly represent Filipino talent on the global stage.
“We just have to show, like our authentic selves, right? We just have to be there and represent our culture,” Josh said.
In addition, the Kings of P-pop also hope to inspire artists and audiences with their world-class performances.
Stell added, “One thing’s for sure is we want to inspire everyone.”
“Hopefully it becomes a ripple effect. It becomes one of the stepping stones where people could, you know, dive deeper into the rabbit hole and see what Filipino music and what Filipino culture is all about,” Pablo said.
SB19 will perform at Lollapalooza 2026 on July 30 (Thursday) from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Chicago time (July 31, 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. PHT).
Their appearance marks a historic milestone as the first Filipino act to perform at Lollapalooza, one of the world’s biggest music festivals.
The group will share the Allianz Stage with fellow performers Pearly Drops, Bad Nerves, Audrey Hobert, and Wet Leg.
Beyond Lollapalooza, SB19 is also set to perform at Summer Sonic Festival and the Grammy Museum. The group will likewise hold their I WaS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet in the United States and Japan.
In addition, the group also teased their new single, “LAWLESS” to be released on July 31.
