Hunter may have made a whimsical splash last weekend in something fresh off the Marc Jacobs runway, but she also went into the archives — both her own and those of the brand Jil Sander, from the Raf Simons era. This yellow outfit is from one of their 2011 collections, and frankly looks a bit to me like it was designed for a children’s television show. It’s something about the rectangles that look like colorful pieces of tape. The neon shoes fight it a bit, too. Then again, maybe it suffers because it looks uncomfortable, and Michelle Yeoh is standing there flowing in something that looks extremely relaxed and with cool shoes that will not break her arch.

This is Hunter’s own Prada coat, per her stylist:

It’s from the 2018 collection, which celebrated woman illustrators, and while I do not know exactly what this one depicts, in my heart it’s a Dynasty-themed comic that will celebrate the rivalry between Alexis and Krystle. And thus, I love the whole thing.
