Neat Corp’s latest title is set to release on Steam in February with major new features.
Crossings, a roguelite based on Norse mythology, was originally scheduled to be released simultaneously on Quest and PCVR on December 18, 2025. This appeared to be the case by December 10, 2025, but at that time posts on the Crossings X account were still promoting the dual-platform release. However, due to later changes, the title was only released on Quest in 2025 and did not feature the expected co-op feature.
According to Neat, February 13, 2026 is the launch date for the Steam version of the game and cooperative gameplay on both platforms, with cross-play supported between both platforms.
Crossings previously released a limited-time demo version during the Fall 2025 Steam Next Fest in October of this year, and an accompanying demo on Quest. The co-op feature allows players to “walk past other players”, “appear naturally and seamlessly in the same world”, and meet “without speaking”.
“Communicate using body language, combat, and attention,” says the game’s official description on Steam. “Apart or close, your journeys may be intertwined, but your destiny is always your own.”
We’ve played a version of this game, but we’ll hold off on reviewing until co-op mode launches on both platforms, as impromptu teamwork mechanics seem to be the basis of Crossings’ full promise.
Crossings is available now for Meta Quest 3 and 3S for $9.99.
