Juggernaut is based on his appearance in the classic Marvel vs. Capcom video game of the late 1990s, which pits some of both brands’ well-known characters against each other in the two-player video game. In the games, Juggernaut was depicted as a giant, more muscular mutant than he is depicted in the X-Men comic books. Based on the game, it has been made into a three-dimensional figure with a new voluminous shape.

Launch: November 2025
Juggernaut is packaged in a window box featuring the Gamerverse logo and artwork, and includes an 8-bit version of his name inspired by the video game Marvel Vs. According to Capcom, the sides include a video game image of the character, while the reverse depicts him in a victory pose and a defeated Silver Samurai on the ground. The back side also features game statistics and beautifully executed artwork. He arrives packaged in a plastic tray along with accessories.

Juggernaut has been given an all-new sculpt that pays homage to his video game appearance and is larger, bulkier, and more menacing than any other Juggernaut figure released in Marvel Legends’ long history. He stands approximately 9 inches tall, making him one of the tallest Marvel Legends figures released this year. Juggernaut appears in armor, with parts of his arms exposed, showing his veins and muscles. The armor has two colors, dark red and light red, and the lower abdomen has a light brown texture. The closed fist has a removable knuckle piece that can be replaced with an effect piece.

Juggernaut’s head sculpt includes a smooth domed helmet with bolts around the bottom. The head of the helmet is also sculpted and cannot be removed. Facial details are well done, with white teeth and painted eyes.

His clenched hands are clearly his most impressive, with effect pieces placed on the sides of the hands after the knuckle pieces are removed. Effect pieces are great accessories and memorabilia from the game, and this is for showing off his immense strength during battles.

A set of hand grips with sculpted fingers separated is also included, allowing you to grab your opponent’s limbs with your right hand.

His articulation includes a ball-jointed head with limited movement, ball-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, swivel-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball-jointed torso, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel boots, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes.

Below is a comparison with what came as a 2-pack with Juggernaut and Colossus. You can see the difference in size between the two figures.
Overall, Juggernaut is a great piece of work and features one of the best characters ever released. It’s refreshing and something new to get a new version of him. This is a great product and you should definitely get this set. BigBadToyStore has it in stock in substandard grades for $64.99 and below. Click here to order your set now!
