Welcome back everyone! It’s been a few months since we last talked here, but a lot has happened in my online world since then, so if you haven’t been following, let me update you. First, all of my Daily Roundup podcasts are now transcribed daily on this site. Since I haven’t really posted here since Joey’s ending, they’re the only thing you’ll see here. But with Tuesday’s recap, Wednesday’s reader email, your transcript will appear on the backend of each column, so keep an eye out for that. In addition, I also started my YouTube channel again. It’s been 7 years since I posted on YouTube, but now I’m back, live streaming every Sunday at 8pm ET/5pm PST. There will be occasional live broadcasts mid-week if I have any announcements or updates on the series to make. I think 2024 is the time to join the others and get into video.
Additionally, a major new YouTube feature is launching next Thursday. This is my 400th weekly podcast. For the previous 399 podcasts, you can only listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts. Starting next Thursday, #400, all of my weekly podcasts will now also be available as videos on my YouTube channel. #400 is a 90 minute conversation I recorded last Friday with Clayton Echard. It’s Clayton like you’ve never heard him before. No, we’re not going to spend 90 minutes on his Laura Owens case. In fact, it might just be the first 30 minutes of the interview. I wanted to get a deeper understanding of his mental health and what happened to him during his season of The Bachelor. Keep in mind, this is my first time talking to him on the podcast, so there are a lot of things I want to talk to him about. This is really a side of him that I don’t think anyone has seen yet. I can’t wait for you all to see it because I think you’re going to have a better understanding of what he’s been through over the past few years.
This is a YouTube video from Sunday night’s live broadcast. Go check it out and subscribe.
Well, it’s time for the new season to begin again. Readers will send emails on Wednesday! Woohoo! Right now, I have zero emails for tomorrow, so please send any questions/queries/comments to [email protected] or hit me up on IG with your questions in tomorrow’s column. Hopefully we’ll get at least 10 or so columns tomorrow, haha.
Some prime bachelorette news for you. Filming for Joan’s season has been underway for about 2 1/2 weeks. I believe she is 2.5-3 weeks away from what I was told. Regardless, we only have photos from one date so far this season, and that was her first one-on-one date at Disneyland. Well, that person has now been identified and I posted about it yesterday.

As far as I know, Chock Chapple was divorced, had a child with his ex-wife, and was engaged to someone else for a few years until her unexpected death from brain cancer last year. Sooooo, check, check, check. Absolutely love the backstory for this show. I guess we can count on Jock sticking around for a while during Joan’s season.
