The Man Without Fear #1 was published by Marvel Comics in 1993 and is the origin story of Daredevil, retold for a new generation of fans. Daredevil is based on his appearance in this miniseries, which depicts his early crime-fighting days and star-crossed romance with Elektra. This wave also includes Astonishing X-Men Beast, Phoenix (Excalibur’s Rachel Summers), Silver Surfer, Black Widow, Daredevil, and Feral.

Daredevil is packaged on a blister card, the same type of card that appeared in the first installment of the Marvel Legends minicomic series. This includes an image of him in comic book format on the front, artwork such as the Daredevil logo, and the back includes looks for the rest of Wave, as well as a look from the comic book cover for The Man Without Fear #1.

Daredevil is based on his appearance in The Man Without Fear #1 and appears in a black costume with sculpted pleats, a folded hoodie that is a separate piece with a tie in the front, and white and black sneakers.

The head reproduces parts of the nose, ears, and mouth, and the upper half is covered with a black bandana, making it a realistic model. The back of the head has blonde hair sculpted around the bottom.

Daredevil includes 5 interchangeable hands (closed fist, open grip, and neutral left), a baton, and The Man Without Fear #1 mini-comic.

The mini-comic features the comic book cover on the front, one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic covers, and the Marvel Legends and Hasbro logos on the back.
His articulation is also standard for Marvel Legends from this era, including a ball-jointed head, ball-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunches, a ball-jointed torso, swivel waist, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, and hinged and rocker ankles.

A comparison with a recent figure of Daredevil in a red costume is above.
Overall, Daredevil is a great figure with great detail and great similarities to the original. This is a must-have release for Marvel Legends fans as this costume makes its debut in the line. The quality of the figure is also bulky and solid, and it looks great visually compared to other released versions of the character. Be sure to get him and additional figures at BigBadToyStore now!
