Demigods take Hall H! The cast and creators of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” dropped a brand-new teaser and revealed the Season 3 premiere date at San Diego Comic-Con.

LOS ANGELES –Thousands of fans packed Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday as the cast and creators of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” took the stage, offering an exclusive first look at the show’s upcoming third season.

The new season, titled “The Titan’s Curse,” premieres Nov. 20 on Disney+.

Series leads Walker Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart, Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie joined executive producers Craig Silverstein and Dan Shotz for the panel, which was moderated by content creator Juju Green.

The upcoming episodes mark the first time Rick Riordan’s third book in the Disney Hyperion series is being adapted for the screen. While co-star Leah Sava Jeffries could not attend in person due to production commitments overseas for “The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen,” she delivered a video message to introduce a surprise screening of the first few minutes of Season 3.

Catching up with On The Red Carpet at the convention, the cast reflected on what it felt like to kick off the main stage programming for the weekend.

“We got to open up Hall H for the first time,” Simhadri said. “And just seeing it packed that early in the morning, I mean, is ridiculous.”

Scobell echoed the sentiment, praising the fans’ dedication. “Some people waited… like slept in line for 20 hours. It’s insane,” Scobell said.

For the younger cast members, the massive crowd was both thrilling and overwhelming.

“I was really nervous at first,” Abercrombie said. “When I walked out there, just seeing how many people were like excited to see us there, I just like locked in.”

“Were we the first ones in Hall H?” Bushnell asked Smart during the interview, before adding, “Wow, I didn’t even know that, that’s crazy. Such an honor, it’s so good to be back.”

Smart noted the unique community atmosphere of the convention. “It’s such a wonderful event to bring people together, so it’s such an honor to be here,” Smart said.

In the upcoming season, Percy Jackson faces the disappearance of Annabeth while grappling with the Oracle of Delphi’s Great Prophecy. The fate of Olympus rests on a child of the “Big Three” demigods, who is prophesied to either bring the realm to new heights or total destruction.

Prepare yourself for the upcoming season by catching up on Seasons 1 and 2 of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” now on Disney+.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Disney+ and this ABC station.
