About the event
During this event, you can play hide-and-sneak with Zorua and friends. Clear the challenge as quickly as possible and earn rewards based on your completion time! Play as much as you can and aim to set a new record!
Event schedule
From 19th July (Sun) 5:00 a.m. to 27th July (Mon) 4:59 a.m. local time.
How to play
1. Talk to Zorua! During the event, you can talk to Zorua in front of the Pokémon Center to participate in the hide-and-sneak contest.

2. Set your best time with hide-and-sneak! Play hide-and-sneak and try to beat your personal best! Based on your best record, you can earn special prizes—including a trophy!

How to play multiplayer
You can meet up in another player’s world or on a Cloud Island and participate in the contest together. Work together and challenge yourselves to set the best record possible!

Multiplayer in someone else’s world

Both the host and guests can participate in the contest together. The fastest completion time among all participating players becomes that town’s best record.

Only the host will receive prizes. Players cannot participate in spectator mode.

All players on the Cloud Island can participate in the hide-and-sneak contest. The fastest completion time among all participating players becomes that Cloud Island’s best record. Try competing to set the best record on the island!

Prizes are granted only to the player who set the best record.

How to start the event

Download the update data (Ver. 1.1.1) From the HOME Menu, open the Options menu and confirm that the software version is Ver. 1.1.1.

Set your Nintendo Switch 2 system date and time to the current real-world time. The event will not occur if your system is set to a date outside the event period.

Launch the game while connected to the internet. If the version displayed on the title screen is Ver. 1.1.1, the event will occur.
Additional notes

This event can also occur on Cloud Islands.

This event will occur after you complete Zorua’s request in Bleak Beach and unlock the ability to play hide-and-sneak.

Your Nintendo Switch 2 system must be connected to the internet the first time you play the event.

If you meet the conditions to start the event during the event period, you’ll first need to either go to another town once or select ‘Save & Quit’ from the main menu.

If you want to play this event from your own town in multiplayer (‘Link Play’), please use Palette Town. Note that the event cannot be played in spectator mode.

If you want to play this event in multiplayer from your own town, you must speak to Zorua first and receive the event details before starting multiplayer.
