This isn’t the first time you’ve collaborated on a song one piece. After “Sail” one piece Card Game, did your approach to writing change when writing this new song?
Long Ping: Because our goal is to align the lyrics with the world One PieceI feel like we’ve taken a big step forward in translating that world into words compared to last time.
what was your first experience one piece As a work? Is it through animation, comics or other means?
Sota: my first time encounter One Piece By playing data card arcade games, a B game. I’ve watched a lot of anime since I was a kid, but the battle scenes in the card game were so cool that I couldn’t forget them.
Shun Teng: I’ve been watching One Piece I have been watching anime with my parents since I was a child.
Juno: I don’t remember my exact age, but I remember first seeing it in a comic my dad read when I was a kid.
Do you have a favorite character or a specific scene from the series that was important to you?
Shun Teng: This scene is not from the Fish-Man Island arc, but I particularly enjoyed Mr. Pink’s flashback scene.
Juno: Sanji’s farewell to Jeff was touching. Although they are not related by blood, their honest confrontation feels like a father and son trying to express their feelings. I can understand it.
Long Ping: One of my favorite characters is Crocodile. I loved the scene in the Battle of Marineford Hilltop where Crocodile protects Luffy and Jinbei from Sakazuki. His line, “You have to protect what you want to protect,” is very domineering and totally true to his character.
Do you find a lot of crossover between your fans and your fans? one piece?
Manato:The common intersection is a strong sense of camaraderie. Become: first As artists and fans, BESTY transcends these labels and shares a common love for music. Shun Teng: We spent a lot of time thinking about how to combine the Straw Hat Pirates, the Fish-Man Island arc, and Become: first In our lyrics. It was a fun and challenging experience that immersed us in One Piece The world you were in when you were writing the song.
Have you ever collaborated? Toei In the creation of this song? If so, what does that look like?
Sota: We have not had direct contact Toei. But during the creative process, we thought about why our music should be the ending theme One Piece In addition to incorporating the essence of the storyline.
