Children’s and family entertainment company WildBrain is inking a deal with Paramount to bring the TV show “Sonic Prime” to Nickelodeon. Sonic Prime has 22 half-hour episodes and one-hour specials that follow Sonic the Hedgehog as he explores different worlds in a shattered universe, trying to save his friends and repair his reality from collapse.

The series, co-produced by SEGA and WildBrain and animated at the latter’s Vancouver studio, will be available to Australian and US viewers on Nickelodeon on December 7, followed by Italian viewers on December 23. Germany, Switzerland and Ireland.
