Locations and spawning times of all dragons
There are four types of dragons to find during your adventure Storybook Valley. Here’s when and where to find them.
blue dragon
Blue dragons can be spotted in the Wild Forest any time Tuesday through Friday. You need to feed it 3 times to gain its trust.
red dragon
Red dragons can be spotted at Teapot Falls any time of day from Saturday through Monday. You need to feed it 3 times to gain its trust.
green dragon
The Green Dragon will be found in the Lost Fortress from 10am to 6pm Sunday through Thursday. You need to feed it 3 times to gain its trust.
purple dragon
Purple dragons appear in the Beanstalk Swamp every day between 12pm and 12pm. You need to feed it 4 times to earn its trust.
How to feed a dragon
Dragons will crouch when you approach them (similar to the turtles in the base game). Just wait a moment and they’ll show up with smiles and hungry bellies!
Dragon’s favorite food
Okay, so you know when to find them and how to feed them, but what about their favorite foods?
Well, they actually have two favorite foods: Magma and pure ice! The former gem is found by mining in Myth, while the latter is found by mining in Eternity After. Both of these items are quite common, so you shouldn’t spend too much time stocking up on them.
Remember, you can feed your dragon any gem, but they won’t be as satisfied as lava or pure ice, so don’t be stingy. They’re too cute for that crap.
Don’t forget to feed owl and Pegasus all over Storybook Valley besides! After all, there’s no need to be friends with just one creature.
