The top of the points standings this season saw another driver move to the top after the last race in the Indy NXT Series. Enzo Fittipaldi won both races two weeks ago to jump to the top of the standings, leapfrogging Tymek Kucharczyk. Those two wins gave Fittipaldi 431 points and gave him a 17-point lead over the field. Kucharczyk has 414 points after finishing second and fifth two weeks ago. This week the Indy NXT Series heads to Nashville Superspeedway for the Music City Grand Prix. After this week, there are just three more races on the schedule to close out the 2026 season.

This season, Fittipaldi has had his ups and downs. He has four total wins over the course of the season and two additional runner-up finishes. Fittipaldi also has three finishes outside of the top 10 to make this season’s drivers’ championship a true race to the finish.
Behind Fittipali and Kucharczyk in the standings are Nikita Johnson (411 points), Max Taylor (331 points), and Lochie Hughes (319 points). The top three drivers are only separated by just 20 points with just four races remaining in the season.
The Music City Grand Prix is back on the calendar after taking a hiatus from 2009 and 2023. Louis Foster won in 2024 and Myles Rowe picked up the win last season.
