Fortnite has released DC characters Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn in skimpy swimwear, and locked their use to modes rated T for Teen, or ages 13+.

Epic Games has trumpeted the arrival of the spicy DC skins as part of a new “Hot Bat Summer” promotion that sees the arrival of Batman gadgets, a gliding Batmobile and a Batman Sprite into battle royale.

Over in the game’s item shop, meanwhile, are new Batman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn skins — notable for just how much skin they’re all showing. Fortnite has noticeably relaxed its guidelines for skins released since late last year, finally allowing male skins to include nipples, while some female skins have featured more cleavage, as well as so-called “jiggle physics.”

Poison Ivy’s new summer look is arguably the game’s most revealing skin ever, and seemingly enough that Epic Games has taken the rare step of locking both her and Harley Quinn out of modes for players aged 12 and under. This is a step the developer has done before, though only for skins with an element of horror to their design, such as Venom or Alien’s Xenomorph.

Of course, you can still use these skins in all of Fortnite’s main battle royale modes. In reality, all this will impact is their use in third-party creator-made modes set to lower age ratings. Oh, and the pair both have LEGO minifigure versions, too, for use in LEGO modes.

How much more racy will Fortnite get? It’s hard to see Fortnite ever shaking off its Teen rating fully, and we’re still not yet comparable to Marvel Rivals, which recently raised eyebrows with its big Captain America package.

Today’s update also adds skins for England sporting hero David Beckham and The Odyssey star Matt Damon as Odysseus, availablehe new update — seen above — notably includes music and a brief animated cameo from Diet Pepsi singer Addison Rae. Could she become the game’s next Fortnite Festival headliner?
