The game launched in Japan in January 2016 for iOS and Android devices, and in September 2017 for browsers.
The game is a tactical role-playing game centered on seven characters and themed on the Seven Deadly Sins. The background of the game is set in the continent of Babel, where the Tower of Babel towers over seven countries. The invention of alchemy led to its use as a tool of war, pushing humanity to the brink of extinction, and the Seven Kingdoms entered into an uneasy peace that resulted in a ban on alchemy for hundreds of years. In 911 of the Continental Era, the country of Rustris broke the contract and assembled an army based on alchemy with the ambition of conquering the continent. Under Envilia’s leadership, the six nations united and defeated the rogue nations, and Alchemy fell into darkness again. But 20 years after the war, alchemy once again began to cause chaos in the land.
The game is inspired by an animated film released in Japan in June 2019. Macross franchise co-creator Shoji Kawamori Serve as the overall director of the project.
