D23 has some exciting news for cosplayers heading to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event this summer. The organization has confirmed that its official Cosplay Meet-Ups and Photo Shoots are officially returning, giving fans another chance to show off their favorite Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel looks in front of a crowd of fellow fans
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, presented by Visa, runs August 14 through 16, 2026, and brings together Disney fans from all over the world for a weekend celebrating everything from classic Disney animation to Star Wars and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Among the most beloved traditions of the event is the Cosplay Meet-Up, where fans dressed as their favorite characters gather at the Grand Plaza Fountain to celebrate their fandom together and get some great photos in the process
All that is needed to take part is a valid D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event ticket. Every attendee is welcome to join in on the fun, whether they are in full costume or just there to watch. D23 is also encouraging fans to follow @DisneyD23 on social media and search the hashtag #D23 for updates and breaking announcements throughout the weekend

Friday, August 14 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. — Star Wars 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. — Pixar 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. — Marvel 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m
Saturday, August 15 12 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. — Disney Princesses, Heroes, and Villains 2:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m
Sunday, August 16 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m
Beyond the Cosplay Meet-Ups, D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will feature programming across the Honda Center, Premiere Stage, Walt Disney Archives Stage, Backlot Stage, and Hyperion Stage. Fans can view or download the full event schedule directly through D23’s website
